HGTV - WORST TO FIRST SEASON 2: CASTING CALL

Are you looking to buy / renovate a fixer upper property and need some help? 
Could you use $15,000 towards your design & renovation project?

HGTV Canada is currently casting for Vancouver based home owners - and owners to be - to appear on SEASON 2 of WORST TO FIRST!

TO BE ELIGIBLE YOU MUST:

***Live in or be moving to Vancouver, BC.*** 
(This is a VANCOUVER based show)
- Be buying / renovating a ‘fixer-upper’ property.
- Be available for approximately 5-6 days for filming (over 5-6 weeks) between August 2018 and January 2019 
- Have a minimum renovation and design budget of $70,000+ (depending on the scope of work).
- Be energetic and enthusiastic, and eager to be on camera!
- Be available periodically for interviews with our camera crew as your renovation progresses. 

BENEFITS OF BEING ON THE SHOW: 

You will be provided with expert design services and a stunning renovation in only 5-6 weeks! Eligible applicants will receive further details upon approval.

If selected, a $15,000 contribution will be made by production towards labour and materials. Depending on the project, certain items may be included or offered at a discounted price

NOTE: At this time we are only accepting applications from the GVRD (Vancouver and surrounding) area.

*Minimum $60,000, plus tax & contingency. Total budget is dependent on scope of work for reach room. Your budget should include construction & design for 3-4 rooms to be featured on the show. This budget should include all furniture & appliances for the 3-4 selected renovated rooms.

*Renovations budgets are scope of work dependent and can exceed the minimum of $60,000.

NOTE: OUR TEAM WILL REQUIRE PROOF OF FUNDS TO AVOID ANY DELAYS AND TO STAY ON PRODUCTION SCHEDULE.

Eg. Bedrooms, bathrooms, sq. footage, year built, type/style of home, etc.
