Min no. of stay is 10 working days (not including weekends). Volunteers will receive a small daily stipend of RM 10 per day after 90 days and onwards.

Please check in after 8 am, and before 10 pm. We do not entertain check in's on Fri & Sat

Below is the conditions for working at Positive Living Community (PLC):


1- Communicating respectfully with the volunteers, residents and staff and visitors of Positive Living Community.
2- Being sensitive to the conditions of the  residents of PLC, some of whom have HIV/AIDS and /or Drug Addiction Issues.
3- Not consuming drugs and alcohol in any of the welfare homes.
4- Not drinking alcohol or consuming drugs with the residents of the welfare home.
5- Not having any sexual contact with the residents.
6- Not interfering in the administrative affairs of the organisation.
7- Cleaning up after myself, at work.
8- Being self motivated and earnest in the voluntary services that I offer.
9- Being responsible for my own health, wellbeing, safety and security.
10 - Not asking for favours to use PLC vehicles, or to be driven to places, unless it is work related.
11- To contribute for fuel & vehicle maintenance (RM 10 per person) whenever a group excursion or personal favour (for transport assistance) is organised by PLC.

Below is the conditions for staying at the Volunteer's Cottage:


a- Cleaning up after myself and being responsible towards collective chores, hygiene and cleanliness at the volunteer's cottage. 
b- Conserving eletricity at the volunteer's cottage. Switching off lights, eletrical appliances when not in use.
c- Being trustworthy, kind, and respectful towards my fellow volunteers & being sensitive towards the communal living arrangement and needs of other volunteer's at the cottage.
d- Not discriminating based on age, sexual orientration, gender, religion, race, class, education, or nationality.
e- Cleaning my room, throwing away my garbage and washing my bedsheet/blanket/pillow case before checking out from the volunteer's cottage.
f- Not consuming intoxicating drugs or getting drunk.
g-Not carrying weapons and/or hurting anyone physically.
h- Returning the keys of the volunteer cottage to PLC before my departure.
i- Being responsible for my own health, wellbeing, safety and securiy.
